Please note: In order to connect onto the Remote Desktop (DESRDS03.design.local) you will need to successfully connect onto the AnyConnect VPN.
- Open Google Chrome and type https://vpn.designmuseum.org into the URL
- Log in with your work email address followed by your work password
- Click on AnyConnect on the left side followed by Start Anyconnect which is underlined
- Click on the AnyConnect VPN which is underlined in blue font
- Go through the installation process on your Mac
- Open the AnyConnect once installed and locate preferences for that application. A box will appear called 'Preferences - VPN' so please tick the first 3 boxes in picture below and then close the box
- In the VPN type vpn.designmuseum.org and click Connect
- Type in your full work email address followed by your work password and click OK
- Click OK on the warning box and you will see that you are successfully on the VPN
- Open Microsoft Remote Desktop and click on Add PC
- In the PC name type in DESRDS03.design.local and click Add. (DESRDS03.design.local is the full server name)
- Double click on the box created (top left side) and type in full work email address followed by work password and click Continue
- Click Continue to verify the certificate
- Remote Desktop will now open a session
